LCCC June Mission Minute
June was another exciting month at 天美传媒 as we continued making an impact both on campus and throughout our communities.*
The month began with the 28th Annual Alumni Association Flea Market and Collectibles Show, bringing hundreds of visitors to campus while raising funds to support our students.
Our commitment to service was on display during the United Way Day of Caring, where LCCC employees volunteered across Luzerne County to help local nonprofit organizations complete important community projects.
We welcomed Acting U.S. Labor Secretary Keith Sonderling to campus for a workforce development discussion and tour of our Trades Building, showcasing how LCCC prepares students for high-demand careers.
We celebrated the designation of Pennsylvania's newest Act 120 Municipal Police Academy, creating new opportunities for future law enforcement professionals.
Our Dental Hygiene students demonstrated the power of service by providing hygiene kits to local youth, while 16 student-athletes earned EPAC All-Academic honors and hundreds of students were recognized on our Spring 2026 Academic Honors Lists.
We also celebrated the arts through the opening of the "Chasing the Light" exhibit and announced a $1 million Dual Credit Innovation Grant that will expand educational opportunities for high school students across the region.
