ALTA Program Celebrates 2026 GED Graduates at Recognition Ceremony
The Adult Literacy, Training and Assistance (ALTA) Program at 天美传媒 celebrated the accomplishments of its 2026 graduates during a GED Recognition Ceremony held Thursday, July 16,* at the Educational Conference Center (ECC) on the College's Nanticoke campus.
Twenty-three of the program's 32 graduates participated in the ceremony, which honored adult learners who successfully earned their Pennsylvania High School Equivalency Diploma through the ALTA Program.
The ceremony recognized the graduates' hard work, persistence, and determination in reaching this significant educational milestone. Many of the graduates balanced full-time employment, family responsibilities, language barriers, financial hardships, and other personal challenges while working toward earning their GED.
Obtaining a Pennsylvania High School Equivalency Diploma represents far more than completing an educational program. For many graduates, it serves as a pathway to higher education, career advancement, workforce training, and personal growth.

Their success opens doors to higher education, career opportunities, and a brighter future for themselves and their families."
The ALTA Program provides adult education services that help individuals improve literacy skills, prepare for the GED examination, develop English language proficiency, and transition to college or career opportunities. Through individualized instruction and dedicated support, the program empowers adult learners to achieve their educational and professional goals.
Family members, friends, faculty, and staff attended the recognition ceremony to celebrate the graduates' achievements and encourage them as they begin the next chapter of their educational and career journeys.
