Metrology and Quality ControlTBD
Learn precision measurement using calipers, micrometers, and SPC methods to ensure quality in manufacturing processes.
STACK-METQUAL-MC01
Participants will learn different measurement techniques using calipers, micrometers, metric and multi-standard calipers (MCC), and metric vernier and dial calipers (MDC). Participants will learn about and use Statistical process control (SPC) and quality assurance methods on various manufacturing processes. Inspection and verification of machined components is also covered.
Upon the successful completion of this micro-credential and the Machining Fundamentals micro-credential, participants will be prepared for the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) - Level 1 and National Occupational Competency Testing Institute (NOTCI) - Precision Machining certification examinations.
