Develop skills to read and interpret technical prints, symbols, and tolerance standards used in manufacturing.

Participants will be able to read and interpret prints prepared for various manufacturing processes. Through theoretical learning and hands-on practice, this micro-credential will give participants a comprehensive understanding of engineering drawings and symbols. Dimensioning and tolerance standards will also be discussed.
Upon successful completion of this micro-credential and the Computer-Aided Design (CAD) micro-credential, participants will be prepared for the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) - Level 1 and National Occupational Competency Testing Institute (NOTCI)- CAD Foundations certification examinations.
