This micro-credential will focus on a variety of digital design principles including the elements of art, the principles of design, and how they work together to form a cohesive and impactful layout. Participants will also learn how advertising techniques and publication designs are strengthened through in-depth proficiency in design principles and vocabulary. Participants can expect to gain proficiency in digital design and layout, color theory, typography, idea generation, creative design concepts, and output for a multitude of platforms. Upon successful completion of this micro-credential participants will gain the skills necessary to create professional looking designs for print and web, such as flyers, brochures, newsletters, and other materials that will be viewed in print or within digital online forms.
